About Me

I’m Amanda, a creative child of God coming to you from the great state of Wisconsin. I am an empty-nester residing in a three bedroom ranch home with my amazingly supportive and patient husband Dave, and our rescue pups Reyna and Buddy. I’m a graphic designer by trade and a serial DIY crafter/decorator/furniture upcycler by passion. I’ve been creative as long as I can remember, taking over my parents home as a child to install elaborate Barbie rooms or play offices, restaurants and schools. I love to create decor or change the look of a room or object, making it my own. I’ve changed wall colors in my home so may times my husband says we’ve lost square footage (fair statement). My creative brain will not sit still, I must create! I’m an imperfect perfectionist, not a professional decorator by any means, just having fun creating and sharing ideas. All my projects are budget friendly, thrifted or hunted down for a discount. I think the hunt after an idea is one of the most exciting parts of creating next to the reveal :)
